About

Advisors who sit with the family before redrawing the work.

File Cedar Path Advisory grew from years of watching capable Thai family firms stumble not on product quality, but on invisible handoffs between generations and departments.

Registered name and history

The official registered business name is File Cedar Path Advisory Co., Ltd. The firm was established in 2014 in Bangkok as a practice dedicated to business process improvement for family-owned firms.

Early work focused on manufacturing and wholesale clients in Samut Prakan and eastern Bangkok, where founding owners were preparing heirs to run shops that had never needed written process maps. Over the following decade the practice widened to multi-branch traders and family groups seeking calmer ownership meetings alongside operational redesign.

Mission

We help family firms see how work actually moves — from customer request to cash, from founder judgment to named roles — so the next generation inherits a firm they can steer without guessing.

How we work

We interview owners and floor staff, observe live cycles on the premises, and write findings in plain language. We decline engagements that require us to replace management or sell software. Our loyalty is to the family’s stated outcomes and to confidentiality among the named owners.

Values that shape every engagement

  • Respect for family memory. Founder knowledge is an asset; we document it before we challenge it.
  • Field first. Recommendations follow observation on the floor, not a generic template.
  • Owned decisions. We facilitate; the family chooses what to change and when.
  • Proportion. We propose the smallest change that removes a real bottleneck.
